Gloria Kennedy expressed
her appreciation on behalf of the Eye Foundation Board for the wonderful
meal and fun provided for the board last Saturday at Crown Dental.Lions
Bud Byrd and James Rhodes were very instrumental in this success.A
big thanks from the Board.

will soon be officially declared as a 501 c. 3 by IRS standards.

new membership committee has been formed: Lions Robert Schwartz (Chair),
Patricia
Schwartz, Bryan Self and Scott Harkey.More
details will be forthcoming shortly but essentially the same format which
has been used in recent years.

assessed were members who were suppose to be in yesterday’s Board Meeting

Smith was fined for preferential cheering when only certain folks enter
the room; then the trivia questions resumed – lots of fun was had by all…

Bill Alexander introduced Mr.
Forrest Dunn,
administrator of the Louisiana Exhibit Museum.The
museum is alive and well – it is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institute
and the first such one to be so recognized in our state.Each
day about 350 school kids tour the facility.It
has been around since 1938.Upcoming
