Rose Day: Lion President and Rose Day Chair Reeks ask that
everyone get their rose money in as soon as possible so we can close the
project out before the end of the Lion year. If the money comes in as Lion Stu
predicts we should make about $4,300 on this years rose day sale. That would be about a $300 increase over
prior year.

Another easy fundraiser courtesy of Past President Gloria Kennedy is selling the "Book". This is a book of dining coupons which
can be sold for $20 and the club will get $10 of that. See Lion
President Reeks to get your books.

Attendance for our weekly meetings has been
falling off recently. Please
make every effort to attend and support your Lions Club.
Tailtwisting: Lion Tailtwister Bill Archambeau fined the late comers and
then made the mistake of letting a couple of Lions tell a couple of jokes. The jokes made the upcoming trivia look
awfully good.
PROGRAM: VP Patricia Schwartz introduced Lloyd Lenard
and his wife Skye Lenard. Mr. Lenerd discussed some of the things he had done
in his life which led into discussing his new book. The book is titled Papa Left Us But
Mama Pulled Us Through. The
book discusses his life in rural
