PROGRAM:  Lion Stuart Reeks was today’s program chairman.  He introduced Ms. Shalane Morar, the Community Resource and Employee Assistance Program Coordinator for the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse of Northwest Louisiana.  Shalane explained many varied and specialty programs which are coordinated by her agency.  All of them help to rid people of drug, alcohol and gambling problems or help families in need by giving structure to their lives.  They have help for all ages to make them more productive in life and to deter activity which may lead them down the wrong roads.  Very good programs which could go along way in helping to relieve the problems plaguing society and leading to overcrowded jails.  Shalane has lots of information on how to make your business alcohol and drug-free.  Also, if you know of a family who needs help with dealing with raising kids in today’s society, give her a call  You can call her at 222.6802
