PROGRAM: Lion Libby Gleason

Shreveport City Council Mike Gibson. He gave general information on what is
going on in city government. The
major topic was how the city is working to acquire a hotel to be associated with
the new convention center. He
challenges some of the “numbers” being provided for the future use of the
convention center once it is completed.
He suggests that the citizenry hold the Council and the Mayor to answer
the tough questions to ensure we don’t over commit the City’s resources in order
to acquire a new hotel. It was a
really informative presentation.
