Tailtwisting:  Lion Bill Archambeau was back in the saddle with last week’s fill-in TT Hubert Gleason working the pot.  Lion Oscar was fined for starting the meeting a shade late.  A few other menial fines and then the trivia questions.

PROGRAM:   Lion Oscar Smith introduced our own, Lion Gloria Kennedy, President of the Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation.  Her year as reigning President ends this Saturday evening.  She showed a PowerPoint video giving an overview of what the Foundation is about.  It was in 1925 that Ms. Helen Keller challenged the Lions to become Knights of Vision.  The Lions have done a great job.  The video and Gloria highlighted some of the key people at the Eye Center.  This year, the Foundation will probably end short of its continuing financial needs.  Remember to keep the Foundation in your thoughts and do as many have by continuing your legacy through donations – including giving through your will and insurance after-life benefits.  Please help to sell Corvette tickets on behalf of the Foundation.  Thanks Lion Gloria for your presentation.
