BOARD MEETING NEXT WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2003,

at 12:00 NOON.

Tailtwisting:  Lion TT Bill Archambeau had Lion Bryan Self playing the pot.  We sang “Happy B.D.” to the Tailtwister.  Those late included: Lions Kevin Anderson and Larry LaBorde.  Then we did a lot of television trivia questions.

Program:  Lion Gloria Kennedy introduced Mr. Jim McCullough, a Shreveporter and the co-producer of Where the Red Fern Grows.  Altogether, he has been involved in over 25 movie projects as well as many smaller productions.  Jim provided us an enlightening presentation The “4-hat Solution to Unlocking the Creative Mystique”.  It was a very involved presentation and I am hesitant to try to explain it in the newsletter.  That is another reason why it is best to attend the meetings so you can see for yourself.  Oh well, the four hats represented different roles in the creative process – Adventure, Collecting Raw Data, Assembling the Data and lastly, the soldier who makes the plan happen.  In order, the hats were: Nordic helmet, rider hat, derby and lastly a camouflaged hunting style hat.  Jim may be contacted at phone number 1.866.351.8611.

Ticket Drawings: The red ticket winners were: Lions Hubert Gleason and Bryan Self.
