By International Charter any funds raised from the community through projects must go directly to the projects supported by Lionism.  No such funds will be used for administrative purposes for the club.

North Shreveport Lions Club supports many community projects.
-We've adopted Cherokee Park Elementary School
-Most recently we've contributed to the Veterans Memorial located on the Clyde Fant Parkway.

Our three primary on-going projects include:

-Northwest Louisiana Eye Bank- The Eye Bank's staff procures corneas and other tissues of the eye.

-Louisiana Lions Camp- The Louisiana Lions Camp is a non-profit residential summer camp, owned and operated by the Louisiana Lions League for Crippled Children, Inc. The League is funded by the Lions Clubs of Louisiana, Multiple District 8. Louisiana Lions Camp is free for boys and girls of Louisiana with Mental and Physical Challenges, Diabetes, and Pulmonary Disorders.

-Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation
